Tapsee Pannu is born on August 1st, 1987 in New Delhi. She belongs to the Sikh family. Her father(Dil Mohan Singh Pannu) is a real-estate businessman and her mother(NirmalJeet Pannu) is a homemaker. She has a sister (Shagun Pannu).
Education
She did her schooling from ‘Mata Jai Kaur Public School’, Ashok Vihar, Delhi. She has done her Btech in computer science from ‘Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute Of Technology, New Delhi.
She was a clever student in studies. She scored 80% in CAT examination. After completing her B.tech she worked as a software engineer for a company.
Career
Channel V has conducted a talent show ‘Get Gorgeous‘. She applied for that and eventually got selected. This made her attract towards movies.
Taapsee has appeared in many commercial ads. She had also declared as Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face” and “Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin” at the 2008 Femina Miss India contest.

Taapsee made her debut in Tollywood in 2010 with K. Raghavendra Rao’s ‘Jhummandi Naadam‘. In this movie, She played the role of the daughter of a US-based millionaire. Before this movie got released she got another three offers.
She did her Tamil debut opposite Dhanush ‘Aadukalam‘ in 2011. She played the role of an Anglo-Indian girl who falls in love with rural background guy Dhanush.
This movie was a big Hit and received many awards. The same year she made an entry into Malayalam cinema with ‘Doubles’, opposite Mammootty and Nadiya Moidu.
She made her Bollywood debut with ‘Chashme Baddoor’ starring Siddharth, Rishi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma and Ali Zaf.
She had acted in the movie PINK alongside Amitabh Bachan. This was a blockbuster movie. Her acting in this movie got applause from all. She had given her best. In a scene, she cried naturally without using glycerine.

In an interview when asked about her relationship she said “I have dated a South Indian. Also, I have never dated a star and will never date one and that I can write and give you on a stamp paper. I am clear that there can be only one star in the relationship and that’s me. I personally don’t think it can work out between an actor and an actress.“
