Swaraj Kaushal was born on 12th July 1952 in New Delhi India. He was practising as a criminal lawyer in Delhi. He was married to Sushma Swaraj in the year 1975 of 13th July who was the ex financial affairs minister in India.
They had an only child, Bansuri Swaraj, who is a graduate from Oxford University and a barrister from the inner temple. She is also practising as a criminal lawyer at Delhi High School and at the supreme court of India. Her wife Sushma Swaraj had a cardiac attack and she was admitted at AIIMS Delhi, she died on 06th august if 2019 evening.
When he was 34 he was designated as the Senior Advocate by Supreme Court of India in the year 1986 which was notable in his profession.
He was Governor of Mizoram from 8th February 1990 – 9th February 1993, he was the Indias youngest Governor which was an honour to him at the age of 37. Even her wife Sushma Swaraj was also the youngest Cabinet Minister in the country at the age of 25 in 1977.
Apart from this, he was also a Member of Parliament during 1998 – 2004 as a member of Haryana Vikas Party representing Haryana. In the year 2000 – 2004 Sushma Swaraj and Kushal both were the members of Rajya Sabha.
