Surilie Gautam Early Life

Surilie Gautam is an Indian Television and Film Actress. She made her first TV debut with Sony India’s TV serial “Meet Mila De Rabba” in 2008. She made her first Bollywood debut through the movie “Battle of Saragarhi” which is yet to be released on 21 March 2019.

Surilie Gautam was born on 3 April 1991 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She was born into a family that is connected to the film industry. Her father’s name is Mukesh Gautam. He is a movie director by profession. Her mother is Anjali Gautam.

She has 2 siblings, one younger brother, and one elder sister. Her younger brother is Ojas Gautam and her elder sister Yami Gautam is a famous actress in the Indian Film Industry.

Her family believes in Hinduism and Indian by Nationality. She was dating famous television actor Jaspal Singh Bhatti’s son Jasraj Singh Bhatti. Later, they both got married on 19 November 2013.

Surilie Gautam was brought up in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her school education from the Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-16, located in Chandigarh. After that, she did her higher education from SD College, Chandigarh.

After completion of her education, she moved to Mumbai along with her elder sister actress Yami Gautam. She did her masters in Media and Event Management from the well-known institute named Indian School of Media, Mumbai, and Maharashtra, India.

As she was strongly connected to film-related family background. She always dreamed about her career in the acting industry. She started her acting career through the television appearance.

In the year 2008, she featured in Bollywood drama series “Meet Mila De Rabba” on Sony TV. She played the role of young Punjabi Women Geet.

Surilie Gautam made her first acting debut in the movie through Indian Punjabi Romantic comedy movie “Power Cut” in 2012. She played the character of Bijli along with the famous late comedian Jaspal Singh Bhatti, Jaswinder Bhalla, Jasraj Bhatti, and Prem Chopra.

The movie portrays all about corruption in India, especially in Punjab. She has won the “Best Debut Actress Award” for the film at Punjab Music and Film Awards.

In 2017, she appeared in a challenging role in women-centric Punjab film “Nissar” which is specially made for PTC Punjabi. The movie was directed by the International Award Winning Film-maker Jasraj Singh Bhatti.

In 2018, she started her Bollywood debut movie “Battle of Saragarhi” produced by Rajkumar Santoshi. She stated that when she first met the producer and narrated the story, she fell in love with the script.

She felt like a dream come true movie in her career. In the movie, she is a lead actress alongside Randeep Hooda. The movie will release on 21 March 2019.
