Parag Biography
Parag is born in Maharashtra, India. He has studied at Atomic Energy Central School. His father was an employee at the Department of Atomic Energy, who was retired in 2011. Parag’s mother is a retired school teacher.
Parag is born on 21st May 1985. He is 37 years old (as of 2021). He got 77th rank in JEE. He did his B.Tech computer science, from one of the prestigious Indian colleges IIT Bombay. Parag was always brilliant in his studies. He won the gold medal at International Physics Olympiad. Shreya Ghosal, a popular singer is his classmate.
Parag after completing B.Tech went to the USA to pursue Ph.D.
He did his Ph.D. at Stanford University.
He joined Twitter in 2011 as a software engineer. In 2017 he got promoted to CTO. In Nov 2021, Jack Dorsey has resigned as CEO of Twitter and announced that Parag will be the CEO with immediate effect.
