Education
She has done her primary education in Nirmala Hrudaya Girls High School. Presently she is pursuing her degree in Bachelor of Arts at AV college of Hyderabad in Telangana.
TRAINING
She says her father was her first coach in boxing as he was the only one who introduced her to boxing and taught her everything about boxing.
Later she was admitted into the Sports Authority of India under the coach IV Rao in 2009 IV Rao was honoured with Dronacharya Award for Boxing. In 2010, she was announced as the Golden Best Boxer at the Erode Nationals in 2010.
ACHIEVEMENTS
In 2011 Women’s Junior and Youth World Boxing Championships, she won the gold medal in the flyweight division. She again brought home a silver medal in the Youth World Boxing Championship which was conducted in Bulgaria in 2014.
In 2014, she defeated one of the best boxers in Russia Paltkeva Ekaterina in 51 kg weight category. She won the Gold medal at third nations cup International Boxing Tournament which was conducted in Novi Sod in Serbia on 12th January 2014.
She earned a gold medal at 16th Senior woman national boxing championship at Assam. In 2019 she again brought fame to our nation by winning Open International Boxing Tournament that was conducted in Bankok.
She brought pride to our country by representing it at the international level and inspired many athletes of our country and world as well.
AWARDS
She was honoured with the award of Best Boxer in the All India Inter-University Boxing Championship that was held in Jalandhar, Punjab of India. She was assigned as the Official Ambassador of Nizamabad, Telangana.

CONTROVERSIES
Recently when Mc Mary Kom defeated Nikhat in the Women’s 51 kg final trials, she claimed that Mary Kom used abusive language in the ring and refused to shake hands and hug Nikhat after the verdict.
Her father says that winning and losing is the part of an athlete’s life, but he must know how to behave in the ring and outside the ring. Using abusive language and words will not bring respect to any player he says Nikhat says she was left hurt as Mary Kom denied to shake hands with her.
In response to this, Mary Kom says that she shall not shake hands with her and asks why she has to do it. She even says to Nikhat to expect respect from others only when you give it to them.
