He was the first Non-European President in the last 144 years to become the President of the Student Union of Kings College, London, in 2017
As the President of the Student Union of King’s College London, he opposed the travel ban policies of the US President Donald Trump. During the Christmas break of 2017, Kings College, London made arrangements of free food and drinks for the students.
His video ‘Dil Ro Raha hai mera.’ which he had made when India lost to Pakistan in champions trophy has become viral on social media.
He is a recipient of the Honorary life membership award from King’s College London.
