Ishita Dutta is an Indian Film and Television Actress. She is also a model. She started her acting career with a Telugu movie “Chanakyudu” alongside Tanish in the year 2012.
In the same year, she and her sister Tanushree Dutta worked together in a Kannada movie “Yenidu Manasali” which was directed by Shrikanth H.R. and produced by Niyaaz Ahmed, but the movie was left incomplete and unreleased.
Ishita Dutta was born on 26 August 1990 in Jamshedpur, Bihar, India. She was raised in Jamshedpur. As of 2018, she is 28 years old. She was born into a Bengali Hindu family. Her father’s name is Tapan Dutta, who was the employee of Life Insurance Corporation. Her mother’s name is Shikha Dutta, is a home-maker.
She has an elder sister Tanushree Dutta; she is a Bollywood Actress and model, who is popularly known for her movie “Aashiq Banaya Aapne”. Tanushree has won the title “Femina Miss India” in 2004.
Ishita Dutta did her schooling from D.B.M.S. English School in Jamshedpur, Bihar. After completion of her higher studies, Ishita moved to Mumbai and did her Media Studies in Mumbai.
In 2012, she made her movie debut with the Telugu film “Chanakyudu”, opposite Tanish. In 2013, she has appeared in the lead role as Poonam Nath in the Bollywood soap opera “Ek Ghar Banaunga”, which was aired on Star Plus.
In 2013, she appeared as a guest in a Star Plus’s TV reality show “Naach Baliye 6”. In 2016, she starred in a TV serial “Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar” in which she played the role of Arundathi Aarav Trivedi alongside Vathsal Sheth on Life OK.
Vassal Sheth and Ishita Dutta first met on the sets of “Rishton Ka Saudagar-Baazigar”, as they both were in a relationship during this serial shooting but until the end of the show, they never revealed their relationship publicly, as the producer of that serial made them sign the no dating clause.
Later, the beautiful couple got married on 28 November 2017, at Iskon Temple located in Juhu, Mumbai.
She made her Bollywood debut playing a supporting role in the suspense thriller “Drishyam” in 2015 alongside actors Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran. She has worked in various languages such as Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu. She played the role of Ajay Devgn’s character’s daughter.

“Setters” is an upcoming Bollywood Thriller film, which is directed by Ashwini Chaudhary and produced by Vikash Mani. The movie shooting took place in Banaras, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Delhi. The film is scheduled to release on 12 April 2019.
