Early Life, Career
Chatterjee was born on 21st May 1993 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She is from a Hindu middle-class family. She completed her primary education and secondary education in Kolkata. She went to Kolkata University for her higher education and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.
She started her career with Movies. She portrayed as a lead character in the National award winning movie Ami Aadu. Aadu is her character name in the movie. She performed very well and appreciated by many industry people. Also, the movie featured in IFFI( International Film Festival of India) and recognized as one of the Best featured Bengali Film.
Later she got many opportunities to act in TV series. In 2012, She made her TV debut with the Star Plus show “Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein” as Aaliya Hassan. Later she got the opportunity to act in popular Hindi TV series Balika Vadhu as Gauri Singh Jagadish in 2014 aired by Colors TV.
She appeared as Sita in Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman aired by Sony Entertainment Television. This role got her so much appreciation and applauded by many.
She also acted in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya as sanchitha aired by Zing, in Halla Bol as Aaliya aired by Bindass, in Sasural Simar Ka as Devika aired by Colors TV.
