Akshay Kumar(Akki )has been working in the Hindi film industry for a long time and akki is also known for his great schedule & disciplined nature and routine. Popularly known as ‘Khiladiyon ka khiladi‘, Akshay performs most of the stunts on his own.
He has acted in over 125 movies. He has been nominated many times for his films at the Filmfare Awards, from which he has won this award twice.
Akshay was born in Amritsar, Punjab. His father Hariom Bhatia was a Military Officer. His mother’s name is Aruna Bhatia. He has a sister named Alka Bhatia.
He has done his schooling from the mostly known school due to his success and it is Don Bosco School and further studies at Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Mumbai.
Akshay studied martial arts in Bangkok, Thailand after earning a black belt in Taekwondo, India. After returning from there, He got his photoshoot done after which he was signed for the film ‘Didar’.
Kumar is married to Twinkle Khanna, daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. They also have two children. And he is blessed with two children.
Akshay’s career as the lead actor started with the film ‘Saugandh’. as before he has started to work in the movie ‘Aaj’ in the role of a martial arts instructor but Akki had an uncredited role in it. and his films didn’t got much response, but his super movie Khiladi series movies made Akki as the great ‘Khiladi Kumar’ of Bollywood.
