Rakul Preet Singh also appears in some Tamil, Bollywood, and Kannada movies. She proved herself within a short time as one of the leading Telugu actresses.

She was born in New Delhi, India on 10 October 1990. Rakul Preet Singh age is 28 years. She belongs to a Punjabi family and Indian by nationality.

Her parents are father Rajender Singh is an Army officer and mother kulwinder Singh is a retired teacher. Rakul has a younger brother Amarjee Singh.

She has done her schooling from Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan and completed her graduation in Mathematics from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.

At the age of 18, she started her career as a model and also worked in many commercial. She made her first shoot with Kannada movie “Gilli” in 2009 directed by Raghav Loki. Rakul Preet acted in a lead role as Arati opposite of Gururaj Jaggesh.

Rakul has participated in the Femina Miss India Pageant and was placed in the fifth position. Rakul has won 5(Five) pageant titles like Miss India People’s Choice,  Miss Fresh Face, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Talented, and Miss Beautiful eyes.

In 2012, she made her debut movie in Telugu with “Keratam” as Sangeetha opposite to Siddharth Rajkumar. She started her career in Tamil film industry with Thadaiyara Thaaka as Gayathri Ramakrishna opposite of Arjun Vijay.

In 2014, she entered into Bollywood film industry with romantic adventure movie “Yaariyan” directed by Divya Khosla Kumar’s. she also acted in an action romantic movie “Aiyaary” opposite Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in 2018.

Rakul is a part of many successful films like Venkatadri Express in 2013, Loukyam in 2014, Current Theega in 2014 these movies made her to land in bigger projects in the Telugu Industry like Kick 2 in 2015 opposite to Ravi Teja, Bruce Lee, Nannaku Prematho, Sarrainodu, and Dhruva in 2016, Rarandoi Veduka Chudam and Jaya Janaki Nayaka in 2017.

Rakul is nominated for 14 Awards and won 9 awards in 2015 she has won CineMAA Award for Best Actress. Zee Telugu Apsara award for the Most popular heroine of the year, Sakshi Excellent Award for Most Popular Actor (female), Zee Cinemalu Award for Golden star of the year, Zee Telugu Apsara Award for Style icon of the year.

In 2017 she has won three awards are 6^th South Indian International Movie Award for Best Actress Telugu, South Indian Fashion Awards for Fashion Icon (Female) and Radio City Cine Awards for Best Actress.

Her upcoming movies in 2019 are N.T.R Kathanayakudu as Sridevi in Telugu, Dev as Meghna in Tamil, Nandha Gopalan Kumaran as Vanathi in Tamil, De De Pyaar De in Hindi, Sivakarthikeyan in Tamil, Marjaavaan in Hindi.
