She made her TV debut with the Life OK’s popular mini-series “26 12” in 2011. In this TV serial, actress Rashmi appeared in the lead role of Raju Bhargava. Maninder Singh was the co-actor of the show.
Later, she worked in the Colors TV show “Sanskaar-Dharohar Apnon Ki” in 2013. She played the lead role of Dhara alongside Jay Soni and Shamin Mannan.
She played the lead role of Dhara Jai Kishan in this serial. But, the show did not gain popularity and was closed soon. In 2015, she played a lead role of Ragini in the Colors TV show “Swaragini-Jodein Rishton Ke Sur”.
She got fame with her character “Ragini” and became the popular actress in the world of television. She played a stunning role of a traditional Marwadi girl. However, the serial was liked by everyone.
Apart from being a TV actress, she used to work with several advertising companies. She also appeared as a guest in Colors TV’s realities such as “Comedy Nights Live” in 2016, “Comedy Nights Bachao” in 2016; SET India TV show “Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya” in 2017, Aaj Tak TV show “Swisswale Dulhania Le Jayenge” in 2018.
Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar was born on 10 June 1992, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She was born into a musical family as her father Prakash Wayangankar is a singer in Saudi. Her brother Pratik Wayangankar is an engineer.
She went to Mumbai University and done her graduation in BE (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineer). After completion of her higher studies, with her ever ending music passion, she started her career in acting and her first TV show aired in 2012.
She is currently portraying a role of Princess Diya alongside child actor Afaan Khaan aka Prince Ratan in a royal drama “Pehredar Piya Ki”. The serial is being shooted in Rajasthan.
The serial portrays Diya sacrificing her desires and interests for the welfare of Prince Ratan and she would act as a shield for protecting Ratan. The drama is in controversy and legal trouble its offensive matter.
